  • Making the decision to breast-feed
  • Preparing the entire family for the breast-feeding experience
Schedule and Registration:
The Breast-feeding classes are scheduled at The Johns Hopkins Hospital Birthing Center, 600 N. Wolfe Street on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 7-8:30 p.m. Parking is available in the Weinberg Building garage.

Parents must register in advance for all classes. Mail completed Registration Form, along with your check or money order in the correct amount payable to:

Please be sure to include your daytime phone number on your check or money order. When your payment and completed registration form have been received, confirmation, driving directions and parking information will be mailed to you.

Breastfeeding questions should be directed to Deborah Dixon, Lactation Coordinator at 410-502-3221. Please call and leave a message and your call will be returned within 24 hours, Monday through Friday. If your call is of an urgent nature, please contact your pediatrician or obstetrician.
