Schedule and Registration:
Parents must register in advance for all classes. You will be scheduled to complete the Prepared Childbirth Classes approximately three to four weeks before your due date, allowing you adequate time to prepare for labor with confidence.It is important that your instructor know, in advance of any medical issues that may limit your participation in the program. Please have your physician or midwife complete the Medical Information section on the Registration Card. This will allow the instructor to modify the program to meet your needs.
The Prepared Childbirth Series is scheduled in the evening at the Women's Health Center at the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center, located at 601 N. Caroline Street, adjacent to the hospital. Parking is available in the garage of the Weinberg Building.
