Ernest Graham, M.D.

A Meridian, MS native and graduate of the University of Alabama, Dr.Graham received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania he worked on the faculty there and later at the Allegheny University of the Health Sciences in Philadelphia, PA. He began working in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine division at Johns Hopkins in January 1999, and is currently co-director of perinatology at Howard County General Hospital. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine, a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and is a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Dr. Graham's interests include hypoxic brain injury of the fetus and neonate, birth trauma, antenatal ultrasound, and operative obstetrics. He performs a wide range of prenatal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including obstetric ultrasound, Doppler studies, amniocentesis, fetal blood sampling, and intrauterine transfusion.

Dr. Graham sees patients for ultrasound and ultrasound-related consultations in the
Prenatal Diagnosis and Treatment Center at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and at Howard County General Hospital. His outpatient obstetric practice, including high and low-risk prenatal care and Maternal-Fetal Medicine consultation, is in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine unit at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
