You will need to purchase a Fleet's Phospho-Soda Prep Kit N.1 at your local pharmacy.

48 hours prior to your procedure start a clear liquid diet, and that same morning that you start the clear liquid diet take 2 Ducolox tablets with 8 ounces of water

6:00 p.m. the night before the procedure drink the phospho-soda mix with 4 ounces of water.

8:00 p.m. the night before the procedure take 2 Ducolox tablets with 8 ounces of water. Do Not Eat or Drink Anything Afterwards.

7:00 a.m. on the morning of the procedure, insert the suppository pointed end first into the rectum.



Reminder:
No aspirin or aspirin containing medication can be taken 7 days prior to your procedure. If you feel stopping the aspirin is a health hazard, please discuss this with your doctor.




Clear Liquid Diet

These Items are Allowed:

  • Water
  • Clear Broths -- chicken or beef
  • Juices -- apple juice or cider
  • Prune juice
  • Grape juice
  • Grapefruit juice
  • Tang
  • Hawaiian Punch
  • Lemonade
  • Soda
  • Tea
  • Coffee
  • Clear Jello (without fruit)
  • Popsicles (without fruit/without cream)
  • Italian Ices
  • Salt, pepper, and sugar may be used

These Items are NOT allowed:
  • Milk
  • Cream
  • Milkshakes
  • Orange Juice
  • Tomato Juice
  • Cream soups or any soup other than clear broth
  • Cream of Wheat
