Catherine Sewell, M.D., MPH
Director
The Johns Hopkins Fibroid Center at Greenspring Station has been established with the purpose of coordinating research into this common gynecologic condition and for offering a wide array of treatment options, including alternatives to hysterectomy. The newer techniques include uterine artery embolization, hysteroscopic resection, laparoscopic myomectomy and laparscopic hysterectomy. An interdisciplinary team comprised of gynecologists, interventional radiologists, and reproductive endocrinologists will be available to see patients and offer individualized care.
