Cynthia Holcroft, M.D.
A native Californian and undergraduate of M.I.T., Dr. Holcroft received her medical degree from Yale University and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and postdoctoral fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Holcroft joined the faculty of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2003. She is board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and holds memberships in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecology and Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Dr. Holcroft's interests include fetal anomalies, management of the critically ill patient, and high-risk pregnancy conditions including cardiac disease, Rh disease, and HIV. She performs a full range of prenatal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including obstetric ultrasound, Doppler studies, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), fetal blood sampling and intrauterine transfusion.
Dr. Holcroft sees patients for ultrasound and ultrasound-related consultations in the Prenatal Diagnosis & Treatment Center at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her outpatient Gynecology and Obstetric practice, including high and low-risk prenatal care and Maternal-Fetal Medicine consultation, is at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
